Environment Club
The Environment club at DPS Moradabad in an amalgamation of active, vibrant and go getters kind of students and teachers. The club ensures that all the stake holders of the school understand the importance of environment and the need to nurture it. The club celebrates all the important events like The Earth day,The Environment Day and Van Mahotsav etc with full gusto and fervour. The club has introduced the concept of Blue and green dustbins in the school.
In the session 2016-17 the club organized a massive plantation (150 odd saplings) in the month of July. Also the school hosted the National inter DPS science and Environment Festival in the month of October. One of the major highlights was that participants from across the nation researched about the pathetic polluted state of the river of their region . In this session again the club has plans for plantation and many more events.
School Wellness club/committee
The school wellness committee comprises of a mix of students, parents and teachers who work in tandem for the optimal development of every student. This can be achieved by healthy eating patterns and regular physical activity. The committee keeps a regular check on the food articles sold in the school canteen. The committee has been instrumental in stopping the sale of soft drinks and other junk food in the school canteen.
Also the school students have developed a habit of eating a fruit daily as the school has a separate time slotted in their timetable as 'Fruit Lunch Time'. The school almanac has a daily routine page , which helps a student plan his/her day giving importance to all the activities which help in the holistic development .

Sexual Harassment Committee
The complaint redressal committee is set up as per the Sexual Harassment of Women at workplace( Prevention, Protection and Redressal) Act 2012.
The committee aims at conducting education and sensitizing programmes and develop policies against sexual harassment .It creates a mechanism for redressal of complaints. It also tries to safeguard against false or malicious charges. It aims at providing a safe working environment to all the employees.
The committee organizes workshops, seminars and counseling sessions for students, teachers and other women work force to sensitize them about the issue.
